I loved the article by Rick Anderson. These are my notes:
We need to meet the users of the library in THEIR SPACE.
They expect to have access to everything from their home or cell phone or laptop.
The library search engine needs to be EASY TO USE.
There should not be any technological barriers between the patron and the needed information. The key word is at your fingertips: ONE BUTTON COMMAND.
We are in the Post Print Era.
The Library of Tomorrow chats with far away patrons, sends requested information all over, delivers access to well presented resources and helps the community to become PATRON 2.0!
